FAQ

What can I submit?
Please submit written entries or images that you would like to share. They should connect in some way to the general theme of Feasts and Festivals in the Fall River area or any of the individual exhibition photographs. Examples include: a story, memory, or information written by you; an old photograph from a family album; or a recent photograph taken by you or someone in your family.

How do I submit?
Select the photo file on your computer or other device and upload it via the “Submit Photos” tab/page. After agreeing to the Terms and Conditions of participation, use the “Submit” button at the bottom of the page to complete the file transfer. You will receive a confirmation email of receipt. If you don’t, send an inquiry to publicrelations@narrowscenter.org

Also, tell us a bit about your photograph on that same “Submit Photos” tab/page, like where and when they were taken and what is going on in the images. If you only want to submit a written reflection or story, you don’t need to upload anything: just copy and paste or write directly in the message box via the “Submit Comment or Memory” tab/page.

Will my submission automatically become part of the Feasts and Festivals exhibition?
Given the volume of submissions, the Narrows Center for the Arts does not guarantee that your submission will be included in the Feasts and Festivals exhibition. But the exhibition curators will review each submission carefully and do their best to include as many contributions as possible.

What if someone else created it?
If you want to submit items created by someone else, please ask that person to submit the item themselves so they can review and agree to the Terms and Conditions. If the photograph is from your old family album and you now own it, the photo is welcome for submission.

Can I submit photographs of other people?
Please ask permission from the people in your photographs before submitting them. Let them know that the images may become public and be sure you have their approval.

What if I am under 18 and want to make a submission?
Please have a parent or guardian include a note in the message box giving permission for participation.

What if I need to make changes to my submission?
Please e-mail publicrelations@narrowscenter.org if you would like to make changes to your submission.

What if my work was uploaded without my permission?
Using the template below, please fill in the details indicated in parentheses and e-mail it to publicrelations@narrowscenter.org
